Hybrid Selection Tips

Our goal at PRIME Farm Seeds is to help corn growers grow corn more profitably in eastern Illinois and western Indiana by:

• Working one-on-one with corn growers to identify specific needs
• Delivering the most advanced genetic technology in corn hybrids through global partnerships and local, intensive corn breeding and testing
• Recommending a diverse package of corn hybrids to minimize risk
• Providing proper placement and management tips for hybrids on a field-by-field basis
• Tracking the actual performance of each hybrid field-by-field

PRIME Farm Seeds is a seed corn company formed in 1998 by Dr. Jim Parks in Dana, Indiana.  Jim is a plant breeder who has worked in the seed industry since 1980 developing commercially successful corn inbred lines and hybrids.  From the beginning our aim has been to add value to the farmer's bottom line and help build the local economy with a growing business at the same time.
