Agrisure® 3000GT corn hybrids help growers achieve maximum yield performance while providing the flexibility to choose management practices that fit their needs. This new stack of Agrisure traits (GT/CB/LL/RW) protects against both corn borer and corn rootworm, with tolerance to in-season applications of glyphosate and glufosinate (Ignite®) herbicides.
Hybrids with the Agrisure 3000GT quad stak feature:

  • Protection against Western, Northern and Mexican corn rootworms
  • Effective control of first- and second generation European corn borer
  • Excellent control of leaf-feeding damage and suppression of ear-feading damage from corn earworm
  • Suppression of fall armyworm and Southern cornstalk borer
  • Increased flexibility in weed and volunteer corn management with choice of applying glyphosate or glufosinate

Roundup Ready® Corn 2
The Roundup Ready Corn 2 System provides broad-spectrum weed control, application flexibility, and proven crop safety that conventional herbicide programs cannot match, all of which adds up to consistently higher yields.

YieldGard® Plus protected corn combines the insect protection spectrum of YieldGard Corn Borer and YieldGard Rootworm technologies and provides effective and consistent larval control of corn borer and rootworm. YieldGard Plus containing seed is treated with seed applied insecticide.*

YieldGard VT Rootworm/RR2® technology provides the next generation of YieldGard stacked-trait products that provides better insect control and improved consistency of control of western corn rootworm, northern corn rootworm, and Mexican corn rootworm. Protecting the root of the corn plant from feeding by corn rootworm larvae decreases lodging and protects the genetic yield potential of YieldGard VT Rootworm/RR2 corn hybrids. This protection is combined with the benefits of Roundup Ready Corn 2. YieldGard VT Rootworm/RR2 containing seed is treated with seed applied insecticide.*

YieldGard VT Triple® corn technology combines YieldGard Corn Borer and YieldGard VT Rootworm/RR2 technology into a single plant. Yieldgard VT Triple corn hybrids control European and southwestern corn borer, sugarcane borer, southern corn stalk borer, western corn rootworm, northern corn rootworm, and Mexican corn rootworm. YieldGard VT Triple hybrids will also provide intermediate protection against corn earworm, fall armyworm, and stalk borer. By providing in-plant protection against the above insect pests, the genetic yield potential of YieldGard VT Triple corn hybrids is preserved. YieldGard VT Triple corn hybrids also include Roundup Ready 2 Technology. YieldGard VT Triple containing seed is treated with seed applied insecticide.*

* A seed-applied insecticide can protect seed, roots, and seedlings from insects such as black cutworm, wireworm, white grubs, seed corn maggots, chinch bug, and early flea beetles.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires a refuge on every farm that plants insect-protected corn hybrids. Failure to plant the appropriate refuge jeopardizes your continued access to Agrisure technology.

Insect Resistance Management
To preserve the benefits and insect protection of the YieldGard Family of corn technologies, an Insect Resistance Management (IRM) plan must be a part of every grower’s short-term and long-term production strategies. IRM plans are mandated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Insect Resistance Management is a requirement for purchasing YieldGard Corn Borer, YieldGard Rootworm, YieldGard Plus, YieldGard VT Rootworm/RR2® and YieldGard VT Triple® corn.

RESPECT the REFUGE™
As a grower of insect protected corn products, please Respect the Refuge and plant the appropriate refuge on your farm. By helping to combat resistance, this refuge will maintain the value of the technology for the future. Details for implementing a proper IRM plan and use of a refuge for specific technologies are described in the most recent version of the Agrisure Stewardship Guide, YieldGard IRM Guide and the Monsanto Technology Use Guide.

Monsanto established the Processor Preferred® brand to deliver grain with compositional value to processors and to unlock value for growers in new markets. Processor Preferred hybrids yield more of the valuable traits that processors want or can mill more economically. These hybrids include High Extractable Starch and High Fermentable Corn.

Processor Preferred High Extractable Starch (HES) hybrids can deliver higher levels of extractable starch, which allows corn wet millers to produce higher starch yields that they can turn into products that include high fructose corn syrup, corn oil, specialty starch products, commodity starches and ethanol.

Processor Preferred High Fermentable Corn (HFC) hybrids can deliver higher levels of fermentable starch, which allows dry mill ethanol plants to obtain higher ethanol yields for greater profit potential.

We have evaluated and identified our products, which meet the Processor Preferred level of grain compositional value. These are identified with the logo and/or letter designation as follows:

HES = Products with Processor Preferred High Extractable Starch

HFC = Products with Processor Preferred High Fermentable Corn

HFC/HES = Products with both Processor Preferred High Fermentable Corn and Processor Preferred High Extractable Starch
